To strengthen multidimensional collaboration with world-leading universities and advance excellence in educational talent cultivation, the Faculty of Education at East China Normal University (ECNU) has expanded its International Academic Exchange Week Program. In 2025, the Faculty will organize a series of academic exchange programs with institutions including Columbia University, the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge, and the University of Hong Kong (HKU).
From April 29 to May 4, 2025, a 14-member ECNU Faculty of Education delegation engaged in intensive academic exchanges at two premier Hong Kong institutions: The Centre for Information Technology in Education (CITE) at HKU’s Faculty of Education, focusing on “Touching Hearts and Inspiring Minds with Emerging Digital Technologies”; The Department of Mathematics and Information Technology at the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), exploring “Enhancing Sustainable Human–Machine Interaction through AI-Driven Technologies”.
At HKU, delegates presented keynote speeches and participated in roundtable discussions, showcasing ECNU’s breakthroughs in AI-driven educational transformation. At EdUHK, dialogues centered on sustainable human-AI collaboration frameworks for future learning ecosystems.
The delegation systematically demonstrated ECNU’s latest findings in AI-powered pedagogy and digital ecosystem reconstruction, receiving critical feedback from Hong Kong peers.They also held constructive discussions with Hong Kong education professionals on topics including intelligent technology empowering educational innovation and the reconstruction of educational ecosystems in the digital era.
