To strengthen academic cooperation with Asian universities and promote deep exchanges with outstanding Asian students, ECNU collaborated with Tsukuba University in Japan, Korea National University of Education, Khon Kaen University in Thailand, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and Bandung Institute of Technology in Indonesia in carrying out the "Asian Campus Plus" project in 2024. This project was jointly created and funded by the education ministries of China, Japan, and South Korea, involving 39 students in offline exchanges andoffering online courses accessible to all students from the six universities. Two ECNU master’s students were sent to Tsukuba University in Japan, fourwere sentto Korea National University of Education for three months of exchange,and one master’s student from Tsukuba University, three from Korea National University of Education, and one from Khon Kaen University at ECNU were received.
