Since September 2010,the International Center for Teacher EducationatECNU has actively served the Foreign Aid Education Program oftheMinistry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM). It has developed 15 years of the International Master's Program in Education supported bytheMOFCOM, enrolling 396 students from 69 countries.
Since 2011, the centre has hosted 46 sessions ofshort-term training programmes for senior managers and teachers from developing countries organized by the MOFCOM, enrolling 1,539 trainees from 77 countries. Since 2015, the International Master'sProgram with the support of Chinese governmentscholars has enrolled 21 students from 12 countries. Since 2016, the centre has hosted 8 sessions of the "UNESCO–China Government Great Wall ScholarshipProgram—ECNU Advanced Training Program,"which includes 103 trainees from 20 countries. In 2024, 93 international students across various programs study atthe Center.
