On October 29th, a 29-member delegation from Early Education Care & Education (ECCE) Council Malaysia visited the Faculty of Education, ECNU, headed by Prof. Zhan Xingqiong (Chair of ECCE Council Malaysia), aiming to understand the management and development of Department of Preschool Education, Faculty of Education, ECNU as well as promote exchanges and collaborations between two sides. Huang Jin (Executive Deputy Secretary of Communist Party Committee of Faculty of Education; Professor of Department of Preschool Education), Zuo Zhihong (Secretary of Communist Party Committee Branch of Department of Preschool Education), Li Zhaocun (Associate Dean of Department of Preschool Education), Li Yuhua (Deputy Secretary of Communist Party Committee Branch of Department of Preschool Education), Ji Yunfei (Instructor of Department of Preschool Education) and Qiu Yue (Director of the International Affairs Division) attended the meeting.
Huang Jin gave a brief introduction to the Department of Preschool Education, Faculty of Education, ECNU and then Li Zhaocun further introduced it in aspects of professional ranking, subject characteristics, history and faculty team. Correspondingly, Zhan Xingqiong briefed ECCE Council Malaysia and expressed expectations of strengthen connections and collaborations with Faculty of Education, ECNU.
Furthermore, the two sides communicated with each other on training program and curriculum design of undergraduate preschool education. The two sides took the opportunity to discuss the promising international projects to be carried out and facilitate academic communication and international collaborations in education.
