On November 27th, 2017，a delegation from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto (U of T), Canada, represented by Professor Glen Jones, dean of the institute, and Chief Administrative Officer Helen Huang, visited the Faculty of Education, ECNU. Professor Yuan Zhenguo, dean of the Faculty of Education, Associate Professor Li Mei, from the Institute for Studies in Higher Education, and Yang Fuyi, director of the International Affairs Division, received the delegation.
During the meeting, the two sides reached a consensus on several aspects. These consisted of the preparation and signing of an exchange agreement to facilitate further cooperation, academic-exchange weeks in May and October respectively set at U of T and ECNU, and exchange activities among students. The two sides intend to deepen the communication between teachers and students in the field of education through the above projects and explore other possibilities for further cooperation.
