On March 6th, 2017, the second Japan-China forum on Educational Research organized by the Graduate School of Comprehensive Human Sciences, University of Tsukuba and the Faculty of Education, East China Normal University (ECNU) was held in University of Tsukuba. Professor Hirofumi Hamada, Professor Yoshiyasu Ida and Professor Yuichiro Kai from the Graduate School of Comprehensive Human Sciences, University of Tsukuba, Chunhong Han, Deputy CPC Secretary of the Faculty of Education at ECNU, Yun Bai, Director of the Instruction Affairs Division, Xiaoqin Wang, Deputy Dean of the School of Teacher Education, Professor Chunling Liu from the Department of Special Education, Professor Xiaomin Shen and Associate Professor Yueqin Li from the School of Teacher Education attended. Four doctoral students from ECNU and the graduate students from University of Tsukuba participated in the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Takanori Ueda, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Human Sciences, University of Tsukuba.
The forum started at 10 a.m. and Professor Hirofumi Hamada firstly made the opening speech. In his speech, he gave ECNU teachers and students a warm welcome, and briefly introduced the developing history and the construction of Education Discipline in University of Tsukuba.
After the speech, the forum officially entered the exhibition and exchange links. Four doctoral students from ECNU and three graduate students from University of Tsukuba respectively made their keynote speeches. Then, teachers and students had a heated discussion on related issues about the comparative study of education in China and Japan. The forum lasted for more than 4 hours.
Finally, Yoshiyasu Ida and Chunhong Han respectively made a summarized speech and spoke highly of the wonderful performance of graduate students in both universities.
