On the morning of 18th September 2016, Professional English, one of English Courses of 2016 “Fonian” Class in Faculty of Education begins at Room 207, Wen Fu Building. G. Williamson (Bill) McDiarmid who comes from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill lectures this course. Professor McDiarmid has been awarded as the Distinguished Professor of the Department of Education at the university. He devoted himself to education field for more than 40 years and has gained great achievements in academic area. He has established several new majors in universities and won several awards including Outstanding Research Award of American Educational Research Association (AERA). Professor McDiarmid also is experienced in the teaching of international education. Fourteen years ago he has already started cooperation and communication with East China Normal University (ECNU).
