Since the official release of the notice on June 17, 2024, Committee Chair for Global Award for Innovation in Education Research Methods Chair of the Organizing Committee of the10th Forum on Empirical Education Research Dean of Faculty of Education, East China Normal University November 2, 2024 numerous academic institutions and researchers, both domestic and international, have actively responded. By September 13, the evaluation committee has received a total of 26 nomination submissions. In accordance with the provisions in the guidelines for “Global Award for Innovation in Education Research Methods,” following deliberation by the committee, it has been decided to confer the 2024 “Global Award for Innovation in Education Research Methods” upon the following five scholars: Stephen J. Ball, Annette Lareau, Herb Marsh, Min Weifang, and Andreas Schleicher.
